Sumeshen Moodley

Physiotherapist

Durban based physiotherapist, Sumeshens Moodley's  extensive experience in private practice and working with sports teams, sports people is evident in his passion for helping people be at their best. He treats all conditions and people-from children to the elderly. Sumeshen was the physiotherapist of PSL team, Thanda Zulu Royal FC, assisted the Golden Arrows FC (PSL soccer). He is also the personal physiotherapist of some of the Sharks rugby players, top jockey's Anton Marcus, Kevin Shea and MJ Odendaal. Sumeshen has worked with international sports teams - Nigeria soccer team, Mauritius athletics team, All Blacks(New Zealand rugby team), South African swimming team, South African volleyball team, German Athletic team, Indian boxing and athletic teams, Liverpool Legends team, politician and South African president Jacob Zuma. Sumeshen has created the multi-disciplinary medical center to make these much needed services affordable to the general public, to access the same quality as the professionals.

Natalie Skene

Physiotherapist

Natalie qualified from the University of Pretoria in 2010. She completed her community service year at Stanger hospital and then went into private practice. Natalie has worked at Entabeni Hospital, St Augustine’s Hospital, Ethekwini Hospital and Kingsway Hospital covering post-op orthopedic, post heart surgery, neuro-rehab and chest complications. She has expertise in musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain. She started her own practice at MEDKP in September 2017. She has completed post-graduate courses in Dry Needling, Strapping, basic Pilates, chronic pain management, numerous musculoskeletal courses, and neurological developmental therapy. Natalie believes that physiotherapy requires a holistic approach to treating pain and dysfunction. She firmly believes in hands-on treatment and educating patients on their experience of pain.

Dr Tasha Pillay

Dentist

Dr Tasha Pillay, graduated with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery from the University of the Western Cape in 2013. Her community service was performed at Addington hospital. Since then she has served the Durban community in private practice. She is characterized by her passion to serve and empathy for patients. Thus far she has completed her Post Graduate diploma in orthodontics and currently is pursuing another in paediatrics.

Arshaad Hoosen

Biokineticist

BSc Honours (Biological Sciences) B Sport Science Honours (Biokinetics)

Arshaad qualified from UKZN in 2009. He gained his experience at various practices in Gauteng since 2010, including the Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology and The Back Clinic and since 2018 he has returned to Durban. His interests lie in overuse and sporting injuries as well as the management of chronic lifestyle diseases like Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and cardiac disease.

He is currently registered on the wellness network for the Discovery Vitality Fitness Assessment.

Arshaad is also actively involved in club cricket at Delta Cricket Club and he is chasing a sub 20 minute time for 5km, with his current PB at the 23minute mark.
